Valentine’s Day Special -Crispy Broccoli
Have a crunchy broccoli to celebrate the Valentine’s Day instead of jumping into the junk food snacks.  A diet rich in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli reduce heart disease risk. Roasting caramelizes the sugar in broccoli and bringing out its natural sweetness.

Ingredients:
 
• 350 g fresh broccoli florets
• 1 tbsp olive oil/refined oil
• 1 tbsp Mix herbs
• 1 small clove garlic (thinly sliced)
 
Method:
 
1. Heat oven to 220ºC.
2. Toss broccoli with oil, mix herbs and 1/8 tsp each salt and pepper on large sheet pan. Arrange in single layer and roast in center of oven, turning occasionally, until broccoli is golden brown in spots, about 20 minutes. Add garlic and toss to combine. Cook 2 min longer.
3. Season.
