Sprouted Pumpkin Masala


Pumpkin is a fruit rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It also considered as a richest source of vitamin A. It helps reduces weight, enhance immune system and also regularize blood sugar.

  • Besan -2 tbsp
  • Pumpkin 500 g
  • Sprouted moon Dal -1 cup
  • Coriander powder -½ cup
  • Coriander leaves- ½ cup
  • Curry leaves -10no.
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds -½ tsp
  • Oil -4 tsp
  • Onion- 2 nos
  • Salt as needed
  • Turmeric pinch
  • Water as needed


  • Take oil in a pan ,let oil be heated ,add mustard seeds ,cumin seeds ,curry leaves ,ginger garlic paste ,chopped onion ,turmeric ,salt and mix well .let it cook for 2 minutes . Then add pumpkin ,coriander chilli powder ,sugar and little water sauté it
  • In another pan roast besan till golden brown.
  • Then finely add roasted besan to it and cook it for 5 min, garnished it with chopped coriander leaves, sprinkle sprouted moon dal and serve.
