Snacking with Alcohol
The starters and appetizers enjoyed with drink (alcohol) are more harmful than the alcoholic beverages.  The artificial colors used to make Manchurian and the ajinomoto used to enhance the flavor are can even cause cancer. Here is what you can do next when you plan a party.
Nutritious snack
Fruit Bowl – Low fat fruits such as melons, apples, oranges, etc. Add little salt and pepper or jeera powder which will give you a tangy taste. The antioxidant and vitamin rich snacking will benefit health and easy to digest.
Salads & sautéed – The nutritious snacks can be sautéed vegetables of your choice or grilled in microwave. Vegetables will taste crispy, soft, and with no oil it will compensate with alcohol calories.
Steamed Snacks – Steamed mommos , dhokla, stir fry idli with vegetables are better than kulcha, naan. Steamed food contains no oil and digests easily as alcohol disturbs digestion. 
Puffed Rice Snacking – Mix puff rice with carrots, tomato, onion, cucumber, and beetroot seasoned with salt and pepper and lemon. One serving of puffed rice contains up to 13 gm of carbohydrates and 1 gm of fiber. 
Breads – Bread with little cheese or garlic bread and butter in toasted form will the tasty and crispy snacking idea. They are non spicy and easily digestible. This healthy snacking contains 50 – 80 calories, 5 gm fat, 7 gm carbohydrate, 2 gm protein. 
Consume a well balanced meal before you drink. Never start drinking on an empty stomach, as it may encourage binge eating or making bad meal choices. Instead, decide on a healthy meal before drinking or have a glass or red wine with dinner.Cheers!
