We all know that we need oxygen to live. We breath, we get oxygen. But do you know, diet also plays important role in oxygenation?
 
An acidic food such as meat, carbonated drinks, coffee and alcohol leads to increase in hydrogen ions in our body. This excess of hydrogen ions combines with oxygen ions of the body to give water and hence decrease in oxygen level leads to poor metabolism.
 
Foods high in iron, calcium, potassium, germanium, chlorophyll and iodine help bring oxygen into our system.
