Oat Bars- For Dieters
One of the best grains to keep the heart and arteries healthy. A good source of a wide range of vitamins and minerals, including B vitamins, vitamin E, magnesium, calcium and iron. They are also low on the glycaemic index, which means they are suitable for dieters, people with insulin resistance and diabetes.
Serves - 4
1 Cup oats
4 Tbsp Honey
4 Tsp Flax seeds
½ Cup Dry Fruits (almonds, raisins, dried apricots)
½ Cup Skimmed Milk
Mix dry ingredients together well.
Add honey and milk. Mix well until all is blended and sticky feeling.
Press into cake tin.
Bake for 15 minutes at 150 degree Celsius.
Cut into squares while still warm Enjoy soft and puffy healthy snacks bar.
