Yes. Your diet plan is created just for you, based on the information in your personal profile. We use your Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine the healthy weight for your height; Studies have shown that losing weight too quickly makes it difficult to keep off. The faster you lose it, the faster you will put it back on but 0.45 kg per week is recommended is perfect for optimal results.
BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measurement of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 years. BMI can be used to indicate if you are overweight, obese, underweight or normal. A healthy BMI score is between 18.5 and 24.99. No- pregnancy is not the time to diet. If you diet, you starve as well as you baby or fetus will. The standard recommendation is to gain 20 to 30 kgs during pregnancy and even women who are overweight or obese shouldn’t try for weight loss during pregnancy. It’s the amount required for the baby to reach an optimal weight and you to develop enough fat to feed the baby afterwards. So instead of trying to lose weight while you are pregnant, use this time to develop healthy eating habits, which will help you to get thru your whole life.
This depends on whether you are breastfeeding or not. The guidance is that if you are not breastfeeding, you can start a weight loss programme following your check up, 6 weeks after giving birth.
If you are breastfeeding, you should wait until you have weaned your baby, so not exclusively breastfeeding before starting a diet. Aim for a steady weight loss of about 0.25 kg per week. It is not advisable to restrict your diet at all for the duration of breastfeeding (although you should obviously be eating a healthy, balanced diet). Women usually lose weight naturally during this time due to the high-energy demand of breastfeeding. We would recommend you to consult your Doctor before starting a weight loss programme.

To view your new diet plan, you need to go through the weekly check-in process. The weekly check-in process will give you the option to enter your current weight and generate a new diet plan. To weigh-in, click on the Check-in link to process your weekly check-in. When you are due to complete your weekly check-in, a check-in link will appear in the diet plan section.
Yes! It's great to have a printed copy of your diet plan that you can reference any time you need. You can even bring your diet plan taking a print and can past at your place so as to remember and are able to follow. This will make it even easier to make substitutions.
With weekly check-ins, we make tracking your progress easy! Your weigh-in and measurement history are always just a few clicks away. To view your progress, simply log on to your Diet Plan page.
You must weigh in once a week. Weigh yourself on the same scale each week, at the same time of day, wearing a similar amount of clothing. Do not weigh yourself every day. Weighing yourself daily will not produce an accurate representation of your progress.
