Dhaniya Pudina Parantha



Cereals are the main source of energy in human diet. In the form of carbohydrates gives energy to the body. They also gives protein in some amount and fiber helps to maintain body cholesterol, reduces constipation.

Dhaniya pudina parantha


  • 3 cups of whole wheat
  • 2 cups of besan
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander leaves
  •  ½ cup of mint leaves
  • 2 tea spoon chat masala
  • 1 cup of skimmed milk yoghurt or curd

Method –

  • Take the whole wheat flour along with besan . Add coriander leaves, mint (pudina) leaves and enough water to make soft dough. Then leave it for atleast 20 min.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and make small balls.
  • Mix curd with chaat masala.
  • Roll out each ball into medium sized chapatti. Spread with a tablespoon of the yoghurt. mixture. Fold the chapatti like a fan and twist it back in the form of ball leave aside for 5 min. 
  • Then roll out each parantha. Cook  on a hot non stick tawa till both sides are a light golden brown.  
  • Before serving, crush the parantha lightly between your palms to open out the layers.
